Service Description

Course Length: 15.5 hrs total ( Blended Learning First half online 8 hrs + in class 7.5 hrs ) Certification: 3 Year validation from The Canadian Red Cross (E-certificate) Materials: All included in price Minimum booking: 4 participants required to maximum 18 student/class Service area: greater Edmonton area, or can accommodate outside of area if required upon special request Discounts (single discount per purchase) applied at course completion: 5% for 6- 8 students 10% for 9-13 students 15% for 14-18 students 10 % Healthcare providers, military, first responders, and students 15% for returning customers Taught using up-to-date, evidence-based guidelines and best practice Canadian Red Cross core First Aid & CPR courses offer lifesaving first aid skills. All courses cover cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and babies (according to the level of CPR included). Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards. Courses offer skills for individuals needing training for the workplace or for those interested in having first aid skills so they can respond to emergencies at home. Once you submit a request with date, time, location, number of particpants you will only be required only to pay 50% of the course upon approval from Life Rescue. The deposit which will be non-refundable/non-transferable which includes administration and online setup costs. The remaining 50% will be due at the start of the in-class portion. We follow best public health protocols at all times, including mandatory mask use, social distancing and 1:1 ratio with all equipment. This course is offered through Blended Learning: The knowledge component of the class is completed online (at your own pace) and the skills component is in-class. These two components must be completed to receive your certificate. Participants must book online minimum 24 hrs prior to the course start date and time, have access to a device to access web services which allows enough time to complete the online portion prior to the in class session.
